 
        
        Rehabilitation Consultant - Rehabilitation Counsellor or Provisional/Registered Psychologist

We are seeking individuals with a professional background in Rehabilitation Counselling, Psychology or Occupational Therapy interested in working in the Occupational Rehabilitation sector and being part of our tight knit team in Robina, Gold Coast.

Providing occupational rehabilitation services to clients with a range of conditions, both physical and psychological and supporting them to achieve return to health and return to work outcomes.
As a Rehabilitation Consultant, this role offers broad and varied experience across the spectrum of occupational rehabilitation, supporting clients in both returning to their original employment and exploring new vocational opportunities.
Some of your day to day includes:
- Case management (caseloads are manageable, and our consultants have the support of Rehabilitation Assistants to alleviate administrative tasks)
- Applying your clinical knowledge to improve return to work outcomes
- Working with employers and employees to develop and implement injury prevention and workplace education programs
- Working collaboratively with injured workers, employers, medical and allied health professionals
- Working across various schemes such as workers compensation, compulsory third party, life insurance, Comcare, Department of Veteran\'s Affairs, and employer-funded injury prevention programs
- Assisting those with an injury or health condition to achieve return to health and return to work outcomes
- Conduct a range of assessments across Initial Assessments, Worksite Assessments & Vocational Assessments to support someone in their return to health, work & life goals
- Conduct relevant injury prevention and injury management consultancy services such as group mental health training, Employee Assistance Program services, Psychological Functional Capacity Evaluations and Adjustment to Injury Counselling services

Qualifications
You\'ll be a driven and energetic skilled with the following qualities:
- Tertiary qualifications in Rehabilitation Counselling, Psychology or Occupational Therapy
- General or Provisional AHPRA registration or Full ASORC Membership
- Previous experience working in Occupational Rehabilitation would be highly regarded
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Compassion, kindness and empathy
- A current QLD Driver’s License and access to own car with comprehensive insurance
