The Role
We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Project Delivery Manager to oversee and coordinate the end-to-end delivery of Medium Projects within our organisation. This role will focus on managing procurement, construction planning, construction execution, and the project completion and handover phases.
The role will lead the implementation of one of our seven new collaborative delivery Frameworks, a state first and at the pinnacle of excellence in program and project management.
The successful candidate will:
* Lead and coordinate all stages of project delivery for Medium Projects, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and strategic priorities.
* Develop and oversee detailed construction planning, working closely with engineering, operations, and safety teams to ensure plans meet regulatory, safety, and quality standards.
* Stakeholder relationship management and positive community outcomes during delivery phases
* Ongoing focus on and management of TasWater’s project management capability development, uplift. and maturity
* Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders to manage risks, address challenges, and implement best practices in project management.
What we're looking for
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Project Delivery Manager to lead and coordinate the procurement, construction planning, execution, and handover phases of Medium Projects. The ideal candidate will have strong project management skills, be adept at managing multiple stakeholders, and ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
* Minimum of ten years experience within Project Management
* Experience managing large infrastructure projects
* Comprehensive knowledge of and experience in leading teams in line with the technical, environmental, social, and financial business policy framework within which TasWater and other sectors of the Australian Water Industry operate
* Possession of appropriate Engineering or Project Management Degree qualification, or equivalent experience
* Demonstrated ability to deliver projects on time, within budget, and meeting safety and compliance standards.
* Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills to collaborate across diverse teams and external partners.

This role can be based in either Hobart, Launceston, or Devonport.
