**Client**:
Global Manufactury in Sydney's South West, which specialises in custom design, and build of small to medium rotational equipment.
Newly created positions due to company growth, they're looking to appoint a mechanically biased service technician/fitter. The position is ideal for someone with service & repair, mechanical fault finding, and breakdown work experience on slurry / centrifugal pumps, valves, seals, and gearboxes - looking for a 9 to 5 job with limited overtime and stress.
**You the Technician**:
Supporting operations to repair and maintain rotational equipment that is currently being used to support Eastern and Western Australia operations. Excellent career progression into Leading Hand roles and more.
**Duties**:
- Supporting operations to repair and maintain mechanical equipment
- Fault finding and diagnostic work on components, bungs, gaskets, seals, plugs, shafts, cogs, motors, and more
- Strip and rebuild equipment
- Customer relationships - happy talking to external stakeholders
- Reading of technical documents for fault diagnosis and rectification
**To be successful you will have**:
- Australian / New Zealand TAFE trade qualification OR an overseas HND / HNC equivalent
- 2-5 years post trade Fitting experience (rotational equipment - pumps, valves, gear boxes)
- Excellent hydraulic and pneumatic components knowledge
