**About The Role**
Monash Health Bureau are looking for Grade 4 inside Theatre Technicians. Theatre Technicians are an integral part of Monash Health, providing support to the surgical and nursing staff to ensure positive outcomes are achieved. You will be provided with training in using Personal Protection Equipment (PPE). The position depending on the level of competency and skill set is responsible for:
- Transporting patients to and from the operating room
- Positioning and preparation of patients for surgery
- Setting up each operating theatre with speciality / surgery specific equipment
- Ensuring all equipment is function and correctly maintained
- Cleaning of equipment in accordance with Monash Health and manufactures guidelines
The hospitals are:
- Cranbourne Integrated Care Centre
- Monash Medical Centre, Clayton
- Monash Children's Hospital
- Dandenong Hospital
- Casey Hospital
- Moorabbin Hospital
**About You**
You will have a minimum of 12 months experience working as an inside Theatre Technician and an ability to work autonomously in all surgical specialities offered in the hospitals operating suites. Through your commitment and enthusiastic nature you easily adapt to a variety of theatre settings and have the flexibility to be available at short notice.
**What you require**
- Certificate IV Health Services Assistance (Operating Technical Support or equivalent (Grade 4)
- Proven relevant experience as an inside Theatre Technician
- Current Employee Working with Children's Check
- Relevant working visa
