Essential Requirements
We can only consider applicants with one of the following:
* A completed undergraduate degree in Animal Science, Zoology, Biology or similar.
* Senior High School Teacher qualification with experience in Animal Science, Zoology, Biology or similar.

About the Role
We are looking for people who want to start or continue their career in education. The role involves facilitating a class of secondary school students (Year 11 & 12) who are enrolled in the following qualifications:
* 22582VIC Certificate IV in Tertiary Preparation (Zoology)
* 22582VIC Certificate IV in Tertiary Preparation (Marine and Environmental Conservation)
The right candidate must be comfortable working with this age group.
Delivery locations are in the Perth metro area:
* Murdoch classrooms
Schedule: Our classes run in alignment with school Terms 1, 2 & 3, with students attending a full-day class one day a week for 30 weeks in total.
Flexibility: New employees can take one or two days per week on Thursdays and/or Fridays.
Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE40122): An advantage if you already hold this qualification; however, we would be willing to train the right person to attain this qualification over time. Professional development, on-the-job training, and mentoring are provided to successful candidates who are new to VET and facilitation. The main thing we are looking for is industry experience and skills, and a desire to explore an educational career path.

* Be genuinely interested in and capable of working with 16 to 18-year-old students

* Manage change positively and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
* Demonstrate a willingness and ability to learn new skills
* Be capable and confident using technology in the classroom, including:
* Learning Management System (LMS) – Axcelerate
* eLearning platforms and online assessment tools
* Tablets, laptops, and AV display devices
* Various educational apps
Content Delivery
The position requires you to be capable and confident in using your experience, skills, and education to deliver modules of training, including:
* Current field research and techniques
* Dissections
* Ecology
* Anatomy and Physiology
* Climate change.
* Academic Communication
* Referencing APA 7th ed
* Researching Techniques
