While current operations are focused on a single orebody, our client is pursuing a range of exciting growth opportunities. These projects include the development of several recent iron ore mines and supporting infrastructure, including an additional shipping berth at Port Hedland capable of adding another 40Mtpa of capacity to the world's largest bulk export port.
About this role
Our client's Major Projects division is seeking an experienced Analyst Resource Planner to join the team in West Perth on a Monday-Friday basis. This is a 6 month contract with a likely extension.
Key Responsibilities include:
Deliver forecasting plans and budgets to meet short
and long-term organizational needs between projects.
Work with senior leaders and other stakeholders to identify sources of workload demand, resource capacity and to collate this information in a reportable format to provide useful operational insights and mitigation options.
Prepare and present data driven models outlining all resource requirements and develop a comprehensive picture of where gaps exist between forecast demand and resource capacity.
Developing operational plans relating to resource allocation and budget.
About you
Tertiary qualifications in Project Management, Human Resource Management, Analytics or Finance.
Demonstrated experience in workforce planning and reporting role preferably in the mining industry.
Proficiency with workforce planning tools and/or software to build and maintain forecasting models.
Trade or Engineering Qualification.
Police Clearance within 12 Months.
