What You'll Do
In this high-impact role, you will:
* Spot opportunities to optimise and extend the use of existing business applications.
* Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver smart enhancements.
* Manage small application-focused projects — from planning to reporting.
* Provide Level 2 support for applications and integrations, troubleshooting and resolving issues to keep things running smoothly.
* Work closely with vendors and third parties across support, upgrades, and new implementations.
* Configure, maintain, and upgrade application systems — documenting everything along the way.
* Create training materials and knowledge articles to uplift our Level 1 service desk.
* Deliver user training and ongoing support to ensure teams get the most out of their tools.
* Ensure compliance with Essential Eight patching, decommissioning requirements, and other governance standards.
* Monitor performance and recommend improvements to boost speed, stability, and user experience.
* Manage user access, roles, and permissions with a strong focus on governance.
* Support licensing, security, and data management compliance.
* Assist with testing, deployments, and change management activities.
* And take on additional duties as directed by the Head of Information & Technology.
What We're Looking For
We're searching for a proactive, solutions-focused professional — someone who gets excited about making systems work better and more efficiently. You're at your best when you're improving processes, connecting people with the right tools, and ensuring technology drives real business value.
You'll bring:
* A bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field.
* Experience with Microsoft's Business Central is highly desirable
* Demonstrated experience managing and optimising enterprise applications — including configuration and integration.
* A strong understanding of application lifecycle management and system governance.
* A proven track record of delivering process and system improvements that enhance efficiency, data quality, and user experience.
* Experience developing and delivering training, documentation, and knowledge articles.
* Solid understanding of software updates, patching, and compliance requirements (e.g., Essential Eight, licensing, security).
* Hands-on experience with project delivery, testing, and UAT processes.
* Exceptional documentation, organisation, and communication skills — and a collaborative, team-first mindset.
