Job Description:
We are seeking an organized, detail-oriented, and customer-focused individual to join our administrative team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and has excellent communication skills. The Administration Staff Member will be responsible for a range of administrative tasks, including customer service, managing consignments, and supporting the smooth operation of our office.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide excellent customer service through face-to-face interactions, phone calls, and email communication.
* Sort, process, and manage inbound and outbound consignments.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of shipments and related documentation.
* Answer queries and assist customers with their transportation needs.
* Process and manage administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and reporting.
* Assist in coordinating schedules and bookings for shipments.
* Work closely with other team members to ensure operational efficiency.
* Other general administrative duties as required.
Skills & Qualifications:
* Previous experience in administration, customer service, or a similar role is preferred.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) or similar software.
* A positive attitude, with a willingness to learn and grow within the company.
* Knowledge of the transport or logistics industry is a plus but not essential.
