Superannuation & Salary Sacrifice Benefits SA Pharmacy CALHN Full Time, Permanent Role About the role This is an exciting opportunity to join the CALHN Pharmacy Manufacturing team as the Senior Pharmacist Team Leader. CALHN Pharmacy is the largest manufacturing service in the SA public system, with a broad range of products and opportunities available for a motivated, organised and engaging Team Leader. As a Senior Pharmacy Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of pharmacists, pharmacy assistants, technicians, and administrative staff within your designated area. Your role will focus on delivering a high-quality, safe, and cost-effective pharmacy service that aligns with Medication Management directives, policies, and guidelines. You will act as the key contact for clinicians and service units on pharmacy-related matters, ensuring seamless communication and service delivery to support optimal patient outcomes. In this leadership role, you will be responsible for staff development, mentoring, and performance management, while fostering a collaborative and supportive workplace culture. You will contribute to the output of the pharmacy service by undertaking complex clinical tasks in your area and by managing a specific portfolio that supports broader departmental goals. Working closely with the Deputy Director of Pharmacy, Clinical, and other team leaders, you will play a key role in driving service improvements, maintaining professional standards, and ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements. About You You are an experienced and motivated pharmacy professional with strong leadership skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality pharmacy services. Your ability to manage competing priorities, drive change, and support a multidisciplinary team is complemented by your excellent communication and problem-solving skills. To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate: A Bachelor of Pharmacy (or equivalent) and registration or eligibility for registration with the Pharmacy Board of Australia. Extensive experience in hospital pharmacy practice, with proven leadership, supervisory or management experience. Strong communication, organisational, time management, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a complex environment. Comprehensive knowledge of pharmacy practice, relevant codes, standards, and the ability to lead, mentor, and train staff effectively.
