Council is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Business Support Officer to join our Development Assessment & Building Certification Division. This is a key role supporting the Manager and team to deliver high-quality administrative services that contribute to the effective management of development applications and building certification processes within our community.

* Remuneration package of $2,582.98 gross per fortnight with the opportunity to progress to $3,099.58 gross per fortnight + superannuation (12%).

Your New Role
* Providing administrative coordination and support to the Development Assessment & Building Certification Division including diary and workflow management, complex research, public relations, and media requests.
* Providing quality customer service and effective administrative support for the functional areas of the Division.
* Undertaking administrative duties relevant to the role including assistance with the processing applications as required.
* Assisting the Manager with calendar/diary scheduling and management of correspondence.
What You Will Need To Succeed
* Qualifications relevant to the role i.e. Certificate III Business Administration or equivalent experience.
* Demonstrated time management, planning and administrative skills.
* Demonstrated administrative and customer service experience including calendar/diary scheduling and management of emails and correspondence.
* Highly developed communication skills.
