About The Role
We are seeking a Senior Systems Citrix Engineer to join our specialist support and projects ANZ team. You will interact directly with customers and other members of the Datacom teams to support and deliver Citrix technology‐based solutions. Your responsibilities include the support of Citrix environments within contracted time frames and service level agreements, remote support, ad‐hoc on‐site visits, participation in an on‐call roster for after‐hours support, and requirements gathering for Citrix and NetScaler projects.
The role is based in Adelaide, Brisbane, Canberra, Melbourne, Perth, and Sydney with a hybrid working model that balances time in office and from home.
* Position requires Australian Citizenship and eligibility to undertake a Federal Government NV1 Security Clearance.
What You'll Do
This technical role offers the opportunity to work with a skilled team, maintain technical documentation, manage service level agreements, and drive service process improvement. You will also scope and work on Citrix and NetScaler projects and provide coaching to teammates.
What You'll Bring
To be successful you should have at least 5 years' experience as a Senior System Engineer with expertise in Citrix and NetScaler technologies, and a background supporting Windows Server, infrastructure applications, and cloud technologies.
* Citrix DaaS/Virtual Apps and Desktops design, configuration, and administration
* Citrix NetScaler design, configuration, and administration
* User profile and environment management via UPM, WEM, FSLogix
* Windows Server Systems Administration, including Active Directory, Group Policy, and Patch Management
* Knowledge of Microsoft Server technology products
* Managing workloads and resources within public cloud environments (Azure and AWS)
* Managing virtual environments with VMware vSphere, Microsoft Hyper‐V, and Nutanix AHV
* Sound knowledge of backup and disaster recovery with tools such as Veeam, NetBackup and CommVault
Your customer focus, communication skills and ability to develop and maintain productive relationships, as well as your troubleshooting and problem‐solving experience, will be key to your success.
