We're seeking a skilled Wood Machinist to join our production team. You'll work hands‑on with timber and machinery to bring custom joinery projects to life.
Key Responsibilities
* Set up and operate woodworking machines including (11D4 6-head moulder)
* Spindle moulders
* Rip saw
* Thicknesser
* Rip and dock rough sawn timber to length
* Select, prepare, and machine timber panels
* Conduct quality checks to ensure precision
* Maintain a clean and safe workspace
* Assist with unloading stock and general warehouse duties
About You
Experienced as a Wood Machinist or in a similar woodworking role
Knowledgeable about timber panel products and machining techniques
Detail-oriented and proud of your craftsmanship
Reliable, punctual, and a team player
Safety-conscious with good time management
Trade qualification (e.g., Cert III in Wood Machining—desirable but not required)
