Meat Processing Professional
We are seeking a skilled Meat Processing Professional to join our team who possesses the following qualifications:
* Selecting, cutting, trimming, preparing and arranging meat
* Removing bones, trimming fat and processing to customer specifications
* Crumbing, marinating, seasoning and curing cuts
* Selecting and preparing meat to produce smallgoods
* Operating machines to grind, mix, mince, tenderise, smoke meat or smallgoods
The ideal candidate will have:
* AQF Certificate III + 2 years on-the-job experience; or AQF Certificate IV; or at least 3 years of relevant experience
* Ability to communicate clearly in English
Key skills and attributes include:
* Proficiency in food preparation and cutting, trimming, and grinding meats
* Ability to use hand tools and butchery equipment
* Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift heavy items, and work in cold environments
* Knowledge of safety standards and sanitation
* Strong communication, task management, and customer service skills
