Caboolture Private is a Preferred – Tier 1 Department of Veterans Affairs accredited hospital which allows Veterans to have immediate access to our facilities without, in most cases, the need for prior approval. This hospital has 43 beds, 3 fully equipped Operating Theatres, a 12 chair Day Procedure Unit and a comfortable Day Oncology Unit. The Hospital is collocated with Caboolture Public Hospital. The Hospital is owned and operated by Ramsay Health Care, a global operator of private hospitals and primary care clinics with 72 Australian sites employing over 34,000 people. We are focused on delivering high-quality patient care and practising the Ramsay Way philosophy of ‘People Caring for People’ since 1964. About our Volunteer Program We are looking to build a small team of volunteers who will be allocated throughout the hospital to undertake a variety of valuable patient, family, or carer support roles. We offer flexible shift times and days. Some example volunteer activities include: • Welcome and escorting from front reception, • Tea and coffee making on wards, • Compilation of welcome packs, • Distributing reading material etc. Requirements • Must be able to provide immunity to Measles, Mumps, Rubella and Varicella.
