Your Role:
As a hands-on leader with a “can-do” attitude, you’ll take the reins on our digital retail strategy and execution. You’re not just a strategist; you’re someone who dives into the nitty-gritty of eCommerce, digital marketing and user experience (UX) optimization. Your proven track record in managing online stores and impactful marketing campaigns will be key to your success in this role.
You’ll oversee the end-to-end management of our eCommerce platform and auction site, ensuring everything runs smoothly—from website maintenance to product management and integrations. Collaborating with external digital marketing agencies, you’ll craft campaigns that resonate with our brand identity and the passionate sports community we serve.
Data-driven decision-making is your forte. You’ll leverage analytics to monitor performance and report on the return on investment (ROI) of our digital marketing efforts, helping us refine our approach and maximize profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
Digital and eCommerce:
* Design and execute the digital components of our retail strategy, making the online experience unforgettable.
* Own and manage our Official Memorabilia store and auction site, ensuring a seamless user journey.
* Drive revenue growth through our online channels while overseeing website maintenance and continuous improvement.
* Collaborate with external digital marketing partners to maintain our brand’s unique look and feel.
* Optimise website UX for peak performance, keeping the sports fan experience front and centre.
* Manage marketing budgets, ensuring campaigns are delivered on time and within budget, with a sharp focus on ROI.
Digital Analytics:
* Utilize data analytics to drive informed decision-making and strategic improvements.
* Provide comprehensive ROI reporting on our digital marketing initiatives.
* Oversee and optimize our email direct marketing (EDM) campaigns, keeping our audience engaged.
* Monitor tracking, commissions, and performance analytics to ensure we’re hitting our goals.
Stakeholder Management:
* Build and manage relationships with clubs, leagues, third-party vendors, and VIP customers.
* Foster a customer-focused culture, motivating and guiding your team towards continuous improvement.
* Oversee affiliate account management and partnerships, driving collaborative success.
What You Bring:
* A degree in Marketing, Media, or a related field.
* 3+ years of experience in digital marketing, digital performance, or eCommerce roles, particularly within the sports arena.
* Solid commercial acumen with insights into retailer strategies and activities.
* Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop is a plus, allowing you to contribute creatively to our campaigns.
