In this key strategic senior leadership role, the successful candidate will draw upon their extensive experience and established relationships in the Roads and Highways sector, to secure and deliver complex design projects across the Tasmanian region and beyond. Working with the Business Group Leader this position plays a key technical leadership role, and will see you involved in: Leading and inspiring multi-disciplinary technical teams on a wide range of projects, ensuring exceptional technical outcomes while managing budgets and resources. Delivering impactful civil infrastructure projects, from initial feasibility studies right through to successful construction. Integrating cutting-edge engineering solutions to meet the unique requirements of our roads and civil infrastructure clients. Preparing and administering proposals, reports and contracts with precision and expertise. Mentoring and developing less experienced team members, fostering the next generation of talent. Building and maintaining strong relationships with client technical leads and internal stakeholders to drive success. Proactively identifying and managing project risks to ensure smooth project delivery. What you will bring to the team: An experienced design leader with a strong background in delivery of Tasmanian roads and transport projects, backed by 20&43; years’ consulting industry experience focused on roads and highways. Minimum Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) qualification; CPEng status or actively working towards accreditation desirable. Track record in developing relationships and new business including preparation of winning proposals. Sharp commercial acumen, outstanding influencing skills, and the ability to think critically. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a knack for building trust-based, value-adding relationships across all levels of business.
