The Role: As APS6 Senior Advisor (Capability Development), you will provide specialised advice and deliver HR strategies and learning initiatives that build organisational capability. This role is offered as a 12-month non-ongoing position or as a permanent transfer for current ongoing APS employees, based in Canberra.
Duties:
* Develop and implement learning and development solutions to meet strategic goals.
* Partner with internal and external experts to deliver corporate, leadership and specialist programs.
* Manage the agency's learning management system, reporting, and contract activities.
* Provide accurate advice, mentoring, and support to staff and managers.
Skills and Experience:
* Demonstrated experience with LearnHub (Acorn LMS).
* Strong background in L&D, HR strategy or capability development.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills.
* Ability to manage competing priorities, risk, and sensitive information with integrity.
