Disability Support Carers Wanted — Melbourne
Helora Support is currently building a reliable team of Disability Support Carers across Melbourne.
We are looking for dedicated and caring people who are interested in joining our growing support team as we continue onboarding new participants.
Our focus is simple: matching the right Support Carer with the right participant based on needs, personality, availability, location, and long term consistency.
About the role
As a Disability Support Carer, you may support participants with:
* assistance with daily living
* community access and social participation
* personal care
* transport support
* building routines and independence
* general day to day support
We are looking for people who understand that good support is not just about completing tasks. It is about being reliable, respectful, calm, patient, and consistent.
What we are looking for
Essential:
* NDIS Worker Screening Check
* Police Check
* First Aid & CPR
* Valid Driver's Licence
* Access to a reliable vehicle
* Good communication skills
* Reliability and professional attitude
Preferred:
* Experience in disability support
* Certificate III or IV in Disability, Individual Support, Community Services or similar
* Availability across weekdays, evenings or weekends
* Willingness to travel within your local area
