Civil Engineering Technician Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineering Technician to join our engineering team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the development and interpretation of civil engineering plans, designs, and specifications. This includes preparing detailed drawings and documentation for construction projects, conducting technical assessments, feasibility studies, and cost estimations, and maintaining records of project details, progress, and compliance.
In addition, the Civil Engineering Technician will conduct on-site inspections to monitor project progress and adherence to specifications, collect and analyze data on-site for use in design and project planning, identify potential issues during construction and report to the engineering team, perform material testing and quality assurance checks, and ensure construction activities comply with relevant building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role, relevant certifications or diploma in Civil Engineering or related field, and strong technical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
