What You’ll Do:
The Role:
The Guest House at Field Farm in Williamstown, MA, is an authentic mid-century-modern Bed & Breakfast. We are seeking a Housekeeper to assist with the overall hospitality of the Guest House, including daily operations and support functions. Housekeeping staff should have experience in the hospitality industry. You will report to the Innkeeper and work with other staff. Flexibility in schedule, including evenings, nights, weekends, and taking holidays during the off-season, is required.
Specifically, you’ll:
* Follow all Inn procedures
* Perform cleaning of guest rooms, common areas, and staff areas
* Handle laundry and ironing
* Serve breakfast on early shifts
* Assist with front desk operations, reservations, check-in/out, and inquiries
* Support group events and hospitality
* Promote Trustees membership and organizational work to guests
This is a limited-term, non-exempt position working 40 hours/week, reporting to the Innkeeper.
What You’ll Need:
Skills and Experience:
* Understanding of Trustees’ mission and local area knowledge (preferred)
* Attention to detail and self-motivation
* Availability to work weekends and flexible shifts
* Ability to lift 40 lbs. and stand for 8 hours
Eligibility Criteria:
* Legal authorization to work in the U.S. by first day
* Valid driver’s license and good driving record (if needed)
* Background check (CORI)
