Role Summary
We're continuing to build our Consumer Credit team and are on the hunt for an experienced Credit Analyst who has a solutions-focused approach and ability to thrive in a dynamic fast-paced team environment. As a Credit Analyst, you'll be vital to our team's success, looking after both consumer and commercial automotive loan applications flowing through our business.
How will you make an impact?
With your strong analytical, exceptional communication skills along with a solutions-focused approach and the ability to work as part of a growing team you will be responsible for accurately assessing and approving consumer credit applications. Your previous experience within the consumer credit space and having held a delegated lending authority is essential.
What you'll do
Underwrite consumer and commercial auto loans
Analyze financial data like income statements, tax returns, and credit reports
Make informed decisions on credit approvals
Collaborate with a dynamic team to deliver exceptional results
Key Experience
Proven track record: 4+ years of delegated lending authority in auto finance, having held a DLA of at least $100K
Deep understanding: Expertise in Equifax Comprehensive Credit Reporting and financial document analysis
Key Competencies
Sharp mind: Exceptional quantitative and analytical skills
Excellent communication: Clear and concise explanations for credit decisions
Positive attitude: A passion for customer service and teamwork
Ability to thrive: Experience working autonomously in a fast-paced environment
Relevant qualifications: Tertiary education or industry certifications
Prior experience in a lending institution or financial services environment is highly valued
