About the Role
The Team Leader Mining and Environemnt leads a diverse and passionate team of regulatory and technical specialists. Working across South Australia's industrial radiation, mining and processing of radioactive and non-radioactive ores, extractive and energy resources industries, you will ensure effective control of environmental and radiation risks in ecologically sustainable operations.
You will work with impacted communities, with industry and with other government agencies to achieve positive outcomes. You will ensure that harms from poor air quality, water pollution, noise and radiation are effectively managed by companies. You will provide leadership and mentorship across the team, and work within a co-regulatory environment to deliver EPA objectives.
You will be supported by scientific, technical and policy experts, and build your skills in regulation, engagement, environmental sustainability, radiation safety and leadership.

Essential Qualifications
A degree in science, engineering, medical radiation, or other relevant field.
