UGL has a current vacancy for a highly skilled and safety focused Advanced Rigger/Scaffolder to join us on one of our major O&G contracts offshore at Bass Strait, VIC.
In this role, the successful candidates will be responsible for providing end to end maintenance and service of the offshore platforms.
About the Role
* Participate and assist in preparing and updating work instructions, procedures, special tool requirements and lifting plans.
* Adherence to the Lifting Equipment and Operations procedure and requirements.
* Experience with hung scaffolds, including scaffolds hanging from tubes, wire ropes and chains; or suspended scaffolds.
* Erecting scaffolding over open-water.
* Involved in the preparation of lift study plans where required by regulations and the Clients procedures and following the appropriate risk assessment and documentation requirements as established by State/National regulations and the Clients procedures.
About You
* Experience as an Advanced Rigger/Scaffolder in an offshore environment.
* Advanced Rigging & Advanced Scaffolding ticket.
* Proactively seek to continuously improve performance, deliverables and work efficiencies.
* Drivers License.
* EWP WP – 11m and over certificate.
* Work Safely at Heights certified less than 2 years of currency.
* Good safety record.
