Across Queensland we have around 50 Court Support Officers including our amazing Field Officers (remote locations) who are the crucial link between our clients and Legal Practitioners. Our Cairns Office has an opportunity for 2 x Court Support Officers on a 12 month, Fixed Term engagement with an ASAP start. Join our Cairns Team: Aid clients prepare for Court (Criminal Law support); Help with paperwork, legal forms, court documents, data entry; Communicate between our Legal Practitioners and our clients; Drive our car, sometimes outside of Cairns to communities to assist our Legal Practitioners and clients; Contribute to our 24/7 after-hours on-call service by roster (which is why you’re paid well above the Award; primarily phone services). You need to have a clean driving record, and you need to be reliable and resilient. Computer skills are essential.
