About the team
The Maintenance Control / Data Management Team in Edinburgh is part of the Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) Precinct at RAAF Base Edinburgh. The team works as an integrated workforce providing niche trade support to multiple platforms in support of Defence.
About the role
This role is responsible for the daily running and management of data integrity for the Edinburgh Maintenance venue.
The Data Management team generates and interprets reports that assists the planning team with the issuing of all servicing documentation. On completion of aircraft maintenance, the Maintenance Control / Data Management Team are then responsible for ensuring all aircraft documentation is completed correctly as per regulations and business procedures, and that Aircraft are ready for return to the gaining unit.
Reporting to the Team Lead Maintenance Support, the position involves the management of the Data Management System known as CAMM2. The Maintenance Control / Data Management Team is to provide a balance between the requirements of the daily running of the Airbus MCS section and the interface requirements of the operating unit in relation to aircraft acceptance and return.
The Maintenance Control / Data Management Team act as the direct customer interface for both the internal and external customers being 9SQN, 10SQN, 11SQN, Northrop Grumman Australia (NGA) MQ-4C maintenance teams, NGA support services, Airbus Supply Chain Team and the Airbus maintenance organisation maintenance teams.
As part of the Maintenance Control / Data Management Team you can anticipate some of your day-to-day activities to include:
Act as the Maintenance Controller / Data Manager for Airbus activities for the Edinburgh CAMM2 venue.
Manage the daily running and data integrity of CAMM2 and CAMM2 related systems for the Maintenance and Supply Teams.
Provide the final check for all aircraft departing Airbus, post Line Maintenance (LM), Intermidiate Line Maintenance (ILM) & Deepre Line Maintenance (DLM) activities. This includes, but is not limited to correct Aircraft Configuration, maintenance documentation auditing validation and completeness of all required CAMM2 operations
Manage all CAMM2 user requirements
Interpret Aircraft Maintenance Schedules and advise the Team Lead Maintenance Support Edinburgh, directly, of all issues affecting CAMM2
Assist with the creation, review and final closure of paper-based maintenance documentation packs required for scheduled and unscheduled aeronautical product and aircraft servicings
Coordinate all ICT CAMM2 issue resolutions (printers, access, etc.).
About you
To be successful in this role, it is a requirement to be able to work in a team environment, have well developed relationship building skills as well as fantastic verbal and written communication skills. You will need to be someone who is able to work autonomously and to tight deadlines and work comfortably in a continuous improvement work environment.
The skills and experience best suited to this role include:
CAMM2 Data Manager Qualification
Aviation Maintenance experienceand/or Industry Maintenance Planning experience
Experience in controlling and scheduling data / planning reports and controlling servicing documentation
Experience in managing aircraft documentation ensuring accuracy and relevance at all times
Proven planning and organisational skills, including the ability to manage competing deadlines and timeframes
Proactive approach and positively responsive to change
Well-developed analytical, interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills
Training will be provided to personnel who are not experienced with the Software Management Program CAMM2 or Data manager qualified. This will require interstate travel to complete if needed.
