The purpose of this position contributes to the growth ambitions through the delivery of the Organic Member Blueprint by managing all paid social channels including:
- Implementing and optimizing the paid social acquisition strategy and retention strategy to drive member joins in line with the Organic Member Growth Blueprint
- Manage day to day paid social advertising across both BAU and tactical campaigns across channels including Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest
- Contribute to the ideation and development of the Fund's paid social strategy and maturity - T&Ls, best practice, measurement, audience activation, Marketing team education
**Day to Day**
- Manage the entire day to day paid social program across Acquisition and Retention.
- Implement the Digital Acquisition Strategy across segments for paid social, covering both 'always on' and tactical segment driven acquisition and retention campaign activity.
- Regularly AB testing and driving continual improvement to the program around bids, ad copy, formats and targeting (ie leveraging 1st party data).
- Work with the Marcomms team to analyse and strategies creative optimisation (ad copy and landing pages) of the program to produce better results.
- Work with CSI analyst to uncover actionable insights to improve channel effectiveness, increase performance.
- Work with key partners (FB, LinkedIn) and agency (Spark) to trouble shoot problems or implement new opportunities.
- Input into tactical briefs and paid social channel selection.
- Input into yearly budget and target forecasting - to assist Digital Marketing Manager.
- Work with External Agencies (Spark) to ensure Facebook is delivering as part of overall digital program.
- Deliver positive and upward trending ROI against KPIs & targets by implementing evidence-based test and learn programs across new and existing social tactics and audiences.
- Keep abreast of the latest paid social marketing trends and educate Digital Marketing and wider teams.
**Capabilities and Experience**
**Essential**:
- Deep expertise in paid social ads across multiple channels.
- At least 4 years hands on client or agency experience with a specific focus on social media as an attraction channels
- Experience managing complex Facebook programs with multiple objectives, products and audience segments
- Ability to influence and contribute to creation of marketing strategy by providing thought leadership on paid social channels.
- Strong understanding of other Performance channels ie Programmatic, SEM, affiliates and how they work across the acquisition funnel.
- Significant experience in coordinating multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strategic, creative thinking, planning and analytical skills.
- Analytical minded: very strong with data and drawing data lead inisghts to inform optimisation decisions
- Test and learn focussed: develop hypothesis for testing and experience running robust AB tests
- Extensive experience in organising and prioritising own workload to deliver projects on-time, to budget and to the desired standard.
- Excellent communications skills, high attention to detail and ability to influence stakeholders effectively.
**Desirable**:
- Experience in superannuation or financial services.
- Attendance at relevant marketing conferences and industry training programs.
**Qualifications**
**Essential**:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications (e.g marketing, commerce, business)
- Facebook certified
**Desirable**:
- Degree in Marketing or related discipline, or equivalent practical business experience
