SA Mushrooms are looking for General Farmhands to join our team. If you are keen to learn, have an interest in horticulture and farming, and have your own transport then this could be the job for you!
We grow our mushrooms indoors in climate-controlled growing rooms, allowing us to pick mushrooms 365 days a year. This means our employees have secure and reliable work all year round as we are not seasonal like many other produce farms.
**About the role**:
Reporting to the General Farmhand Supervisor, you will be responsible for using plant and equipment to fill and empty mushroom growing rooms. You will also ensure food safety standards are adhered to by cleaning and sanitising plant and equipment and work areas. Our General Farmhands work primarily outdoors.

**Requirements**:
Applicants must have intermediate English skills, be physically fit, be available to work during the day Monday to Friday and have their own reliable transport.
Previous experience working on a farm and a current high-risk forklift licence will be highly regarded.
