Job Details
The Australian Criminal Intelligence Commission (ACIC) requires Scrum Masters to work closely with NCIS teams and support agile delivery across multidisciplinary teams. Candidates will be expected to lead Scrum practices, mentor teams, manage sprint delivery, and drive continuous improvement within a complex ICT environment. A minimum of 8 years ICT industry experience in a technical leadership role and recognised Agile Scrum Master certification will be highly regarded.
Key Duties And Responsibilities
* Provide support to the Product Owner
* Lead and coach Scrum processes for multidisciplinary teams
* Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including Sprints, Retrospectives, Showcases and Inspect & Adapt sessions
* Manage sprint planning, scope and cadence
* Manage sprint backlogs
* Track team progress and performance metrics
* Identify and remove impediments affecting delivery
* Shield teams from external distractions and interruptions
* Foster collaboration across teams and stakeholders
* Use Agile metrics to improve processes and productivity
* Maintain Jira administration and ticket management
* Promote continuous improvement and Agile best practices
* Coach and mentor team members
Technical Skills
* Strong Agile Scrum delivery experience
* Jira administration and backlog management
* Agile coaching and facilitation capability
* Risk assessment and delivery planning
* Stakeholder communication and collaboration
* Experience delivering within complex ICT environments
