Due to exceptional growth and success, the RPS Project Management team is seeking a motivated and qualified Project Manager with experience in successfully delivering client-side projects. You will primarily work on government projects within our North Queensland Project Management division, with future opportunities to expand into other client markets.
The ideal candidate will have experience in Building and Construction, Infrastructure, Contract Management, Refit, Property Management, or similar fields. This position is based in Townsville with a high-performing team that is a market leader in project management, specializing in large, complex projects.
About You
* A tertiary qualification in Construction, Property, Engineering, or similar (desirable);
* Experience in the construction industry and an interest in transitioning to client-side projects with a professional mindset;
* Strong understanding and proven experience with various delivery methodologies, especially Head Contract, Managing Contractor, and Design and Construct;
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills;
* Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently;
* Proactive and strategic thinker;
* Australian Citizen able to obtain and maintain a minimum Baseline Security Clearance;
* Experience in client-side Project Management and familiarity with government procurement rules (preferred but not essential);
* AIPM Accreditation or equivalent (advantageous).
