This highly respected business is growing by acquisition. They are now seeking an experienced senior hands-on payroll professional to join their head office based in Keysborough to assist with the next stage of payroll transformation. This is initially a 6-month fixed-term contract, with potential for extension or permanency. About the Role: This role is varied! Your time will be split between two vital areas: Implementation: Work closely with the project team and ADP to deliver a smooth rollout of the new payroll system, integrating and streamlining processes. BAU Payroll Support: Working alongside 2 payroll officers, you will assist in the BAU payroll functions for multiple payrolls across multiple states and with varied roster patterns. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with internal stakeholders and ADP to implement the new payroll system Drive the amalgamation of two monthly payrolls into one unified process Process payroll accurately and on time, maintaining data integrity – Australia and New Zealand Respond to payroll queries and resolve discrepancies Support and train staff on the new system and processes Prepare payroll reports and assist with audits as required About You: You will be a hands-on Senior payroll specialist with system implementation experience Ideally, experience with New Zealand payrolls Strong knowledge of payroll legislation and compliance Experience with ADP (highly desirable) and strong Excel skills Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational abilities Is proactive and can manage tasks without constant oversight Culture & Benefits: Hybrid work arrangements Work alongside skilled and supportive peers Flexible start and finish times If you're a detail-oriented, experienced payroll professional, ideally available for an immediate start, apply now!
