Job Description:
The Royal Darwin Hospital is inviting applications for the role of Orthopaedic Surgery Registrar. This position offers a unique opportunity to develop high-quality orthopaedic services in the tropics, working under the direction of a renowned Orthopaedic Surgeon.
Key Responsibilities:
* Admission, management and discharge of patients from the service
* Participation in elective and emergency theatre cases
* Outreach services to Katherine and Gove hospitals
* Research, peer review practices, professional development, and supervision of junior medical and clinical staff
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Eligibility for registration with the Medical Board of Australia
* Relevant experience and training in Orthopaedics
* Research capability and commitment to delivering high-quality care to patients
