About the Projects:
Our client is working on a wide portfolio of projects including:
* Commercial buildings and spaces
* Major civil infrastructure projects ( Structures )
* Modular construction (experience in this area is a bonus)
Responsibilities (vary by role):
Civil Engineers (Site Engineer, Project Engineer, Senior Project Engineer)
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in planning, coordination and execution of civil and commercial works
* Support daily site operations to meet safety, quality and program targets
* Review drawings, specifications and ensure construction complies with design
* Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and site logistics
* Prepare and maintain site documentation, reports and registers
* Track and report on costs, variations and project progress
* Ensure compliance with environmental, safety and quality standards
* Support Senior Engineers and Project Managers as needed
Note: Senior Project Engineers will take on more leadership responsibilities, including oversight of junior engineers and more complex scope packages.
Project Manager
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the delivery of civil or commercial projects from start to finish
* Oversee budgeting, planning, procurement, and construction phases
* Manage project programs, milestones and client expectations
* Ensure contractual, safety, environmental and quality compliance
* Lead and mentor project teams including engineers and supervisors
* Monitor project costs, forecasts, claims and variations
* Liaise with clients, consultants, and senior stakeholders
* Drive performance, productivity and resolution of key issues on-site
Contract Administrator / Quantity Surveyor
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare and manage contracts, subcontracts and procurement processes
* Administer project claims, variations, extensions of time and progress payments
* Maintain contract registers and documentation in line with project timelines
* Work closely with the project team to ensure contract compliance
* Assist in cost tracking, forecasting and financial reporting
* Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors and internal stakeholders
* Support the Project Manager in commercial risk management
* Ensure adherence to company procedures and contractual obligations
Requirements:
* Minimum 2 years of experience in civil infrastructure or commercial construction
* Exposure to FRP (Form, Reo, Pour) construction is essential for Senior Project Engineer and Project Manager roles
* Experience in commercial sectors such as hospitals, hotels, stadiums is highly desirable
* Experience in modular construction is advantageous but not required
* Proven ability to work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams
* Strong communication, planning and documentation skills
* Local experience in Australia is essential
Salary & Conditions:
* $130,000 – $190,000 + Super
