We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Fitter to join our team in a challenging and rewarding role. As a key member of our Maintenance Services and Control Systems team, you will be responsible for performing planned, corrective, and reactive maintenance on water and sewer infrastructure.
Responsibilities
* Carry out preventative and breakdown maintenance activities across various sites.
* Diagnose faults and perform mechanical repairs on pumps, valves, and blowers.
* Collaborate with electrical, SCADA, and treatment teams to maintain asset performance.
* Complete work orders, maintenance records, and ensure compliance with safety procedures.
Requirements
* A trade-qualified Mechanical Fitter or equivalent mechanical qualification.
* Experience in pump systems and industrial mechanical maintenance.
* Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and manuals.
* Commitment to safety, teamwork, and high-quality service delivery.
