We’re seeking a results‑driven Account Manager to continue expanding our footprint across Toowoomba, Dalby, Miles, Chinchilla, and Roma. This territory has delivered consistent year‑on‑year growth, with significant opportunity still ahead.
In this role, you’ll manage key gas and mining accounts, identify new growth opportunities, and deliver tailored industrial and safety solutions. You’ll work closely with internal teams, including the Toowoomba branch where you’ll be primarily based.
This role offers flexibility to manage your schedule, balancing time on the road with administrative tasks completed from the Toowoomba branch or your home office when appropriate.
For candidates with a proven track record, you’ll be trusted to structure your week effectively, ensuring customer visits are prioritised while allocating sufficient time for CRM updates, sales planning, reporting, and activity tracking.
You’ll be joining a team of nine Account Managers and Senior Account Managers who operate with a strong sense of unity and shared purpose. Under the leadership of the Area Sales Manager, the team has built a culture where everyone supports one another, celebrates wins together, and learns from challenges collectively. Your Key Responsibilities Include
Maintaining, developing and growing key relationships within your dedicated portfolioDeveloping opportunities for growth through strategic planning and fact-based analysisAchieving sales and trading margin contribution targets through product optimisationsMaintaining an effective territory call plan for existing and identified customersWorking collaboratively and strategically with the local Toowoomba branch team membersRegular market/competitor analysis and reporting on trends and sales activitiesPlanning and implementing strategies based on anticipated customer needs
What You Will Bring To The Team
Minimum 3 years’ B2B Account Management and/or Business Development experienceExceptional relationship management skills along with strong local existing relationshipsDesire to be face-to-face with customers, and passionate about delivering effective solutionsProactive and driven to not only meet, but exceed customer expectationsStrong problem-solving capabilities and able to work autonomously whilst collaborating across different teamsPrevious exposure to industrial, safety and apparel products is advantageousTeam player mentality, with excellent written and verbal communication skillsMS Office proficiency and previous CRM experience
