Home Care Support Worker Job Description
This position involves providing personal care, domestic assistance, social support, transport and daily living supports to our clients in their homes. Our team aims to build strong relationships with our clients to enable them to stay at home for longer and participate in community activities.
Key Responsibilities
* Delivering high-quality care and support services to clients
* Maintaining client confidentiality and respecting their autonomy
* Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A qualification in Aged Care or a related field
* A roadworthy vehicle and current driver's licence
* Experience working in Community Aged Care or a minimum of Cert III in Aged Care
* Availability to work shifts including morning shifts, afternoon shifts and some weekends
You will also need excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to demonstrate empathy and understanding towards our elderly clients.
