About The Position
We are seeking a culturally responsive Case Manager to provide casework and case management services for Aboriginal children in out-of-home care. The role involves conducting visits, supporting foster carers, and implementing Cultural Support Plans with a focus on the wellbeing and cultural responsiveness of fostered children.
The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated commitment to and understanding of the values that underpin our vision and purpose, as well as a high level of awareness of the key issues which impact upon Aboriginal communities.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide casework and case management services to Aboriginal children in out-of-home care
* Conduct visits and support foster carers
* Implement Cultural Support Plans to promote the wellbeing and cultural responsiveness of fostered children
Requirements
* Certificate, Diploma or Degree qualification in Community Services, Social Work
* Valid Police Check and Working with Children's Check
