About the role
Jaysel Electrical & Instrumentation is seeking experienced Electricians and EI Technicians to join our team in Townsville, QLD. This is a casual role working on shutdowns and projects in the mining industry. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality electrical and instrumentation services to support the successful operations of our mining clients.
What you'll be doing
* Perform electrical and instrumentation works during planned shutdowns and projects
* Ensure all work is completed safely and to the highest standards
* Collaborate with the wider project team to coordinate activities and deliver on project objectives
* Adhere to all site safety protocols and procedures
What we're looking for
* Formal qualifications in Electrical &/or Instrumentation, such as a Certificate III or equivalent
* Experience working as an Electrician or EI Technician in the mining industry would be beneficial but not a necessity therefore we encourage applicants of all skill sets
* Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment, with strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Proven track record of delivering high-quality electrical and instrumentation work to tight deadlines
* Excellent problem-solving and fault-finding skills
* Must be able to pass a medical including drug & alcohol testing
