About the role
Cafe Gia' is seeking an experienced and passionate Barista and All Rounder to join our team in Herston, Brisbane Queensland. This is a casual role that will see you working in a vibrant and fast-paced cafe environment, serving high-quality coffee and a range of food and beverage offerings to our valued customers.
What you'll be doing
Preparing and serving expertly crafted espresso-based coffee drinks, including lattes, cappuccinos, flat whites and more
Providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a friendly and welcoming atmosphere in the cafe
Assisting with food preparation, such as toasting toasties and wraps
Restocking and maintaining the cleanliness of the cafe, including the bar area, tables and equipment
Working closely with the cafe team to ensure the smooth operation of the business
What we're looking for
Previous at least 1-year experience as a Barista, with a passion for coffee and the ability to prepare consistently high-quality drinks
Strong customer service skills and a friendly, engaging personality
Excellent time-management and multitasking abilities to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation
Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and public holidays
