About the role:
Carrum Downs Police station are seeking an individual with a desire and ability to work in a dynamic and fast paced environment to join their team as an Administrative/Property Officer. As the successful applicant your primary role will be providing a high level of administrative support to frontline policing. You may be required to work in a warehouse type environment to assist in the management of ceased property.

Your duties will include:
1. Processing of incoming and outgoing briefs of evidence and routine correspondence including quality control and processing of urgent and complex court documents.
2. Issuing, updating, completing, and archiving of confidential records and accountable documents in a timely manner.
3. Providing high level administrative support including banking, filing & general office duties to Police personnel as needed/directed.
4. Providing advice to internal and external agencies on a range of Police administration matters.
5. Undertaking a range of functions around the receipt, management, and disposal of lost or seized property items in accordance with Police policy and relevant legislation.
As the successful applicant, you will have:
6. Demonstrated experience in providing high level administrative services in a confidential environment.
7. Great interpersonal skills with an ability to work effectively within a dynamic team environment.
8. Ability to communicate well with key internal and external stakeholders using a variety of communication channels and platforms.
9. Ability to maintain systematic and accurate administrative records.
10. The ability to interpret and apply legislation, policy, and procedures.
11. Good time management skills with the ability to proactively manage consecutive tasks and work to timelines.
12. General computer/Microsoft Office skills.
13. Adaptability to change.
Requirements and relevant information:
14. One (1) x full time, ongoing position available.
15. This position is located at Carrum Downs Police Station, 42 Ballarto Road, Frankston North, VIC, 3200.
16. However, the successful applicant may be required to work out of any location within Southern Metro Region, Division Four.
17. Applicants must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or hold a valid work permit or visa.
18. The successful candidate will be required to undergo pre-employment checks which may include fingerprint checks and misconduct screening.
