The Kitchen: The prep kitchen is well-equipped and lots of high-end equipment for prep and service. When it comes to the events, most of the dishes are freshly made and platted like in a hatted restaurant setting. This venue is located in Sydney's Inner West - close to plenty of public transport. The Role: This venue needs a Head of events (Chef) who is on market with where food is today and is strong with creativity/menu design and a strong background in Italian cooking. While a strong leader and commercial operator they enjoy cooking and creating menus. Reporting to the Executive Chef and Owners. Being able to lead and mentor a team of chefs which can range from 3 - 15 chefs depending on the size of the events. As a Senior Chef (Head Of Events), you will be responsible for all aspects of running the kitchen and developing the team: Full accountability for running of the kitchen The ability to Guide and train the team of chefs The ability to create, cost and produce menus that fit within the current price points with The Exec Chefs guidance The ability to work with the Executive Team developing the business Comfortable with the administration and controlling costs The Perks: A salary on offer of up to $95KS for the right candidate
