Robotic-Assisted Orthopaedic Specialist
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting orthopaedic surgeons in delivering robotic-assisted hip and knee replacements using the Mako Robotic-Arm Assisted Surgery System.
About the Role:
* Provide expert guidance to surgical teams before, during, and after procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support surgeons during complex joint replacement surgeries.
* Assist with pre-operative planning using advanced CT-based software.
* Offer real-time guidance in the operating theatre.
* Develop and implement training programs for hospital staff on the Mako system and surgical workflows.
* Maintain a strong knowledge of orthopaedic anatomy and procedures.
Requirements:
* A strong background in nursing or perioperative care.
* Qualifications in physiotherapy, osteopathy, chiropractic care, paramedicine, exercise physiology, sports science, or biomedical engineering/medical science.
