About the Role
Blacklocks Ford is seeking an experienced Light Vehicle Mechanic to step into a Workshop Foreman role within our busy and growing workshop.
This is a hands‐on leadership position suited to a senior technician who is ready to support the Workshop Controller and is looking to take the next step in their career.
You'll play a key role in ensuring workshop productivity, maintaining high‐quality workmanship, and supporting the team to deliver exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist the Workshop Controller with daily workflow co‐ordination
* Provide technical guidance and support to workshop technicians
* Ensure jobs are completed efficiently and to a high standard
* Support apprentice development and team training
* Maintain strong safety and compliance standards
About You
* Qualified Light Vehicle Mechanic (relevant trade certification)
* Strong diagnostic and fault‐finding skills
* Proven experience working in a busy workshop environment
* Leadership experience or readiness to step into a supervisory role
* Strong communication and team coordination skills
* Commitment to quality workmanship and safety
