About the role:

Our community nurses provide vital care to our elderly customers so you will be comfortable driving around the Central Coast, visiting people in their own homes. For this role, we need someone who is available (either part-time or casually) 4 days a week. This means required availability on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays as well as either Tuesday or Thursday each week.
Our business hours are generally between 8am-6pm, Monday-Friday only.
You will provide clinical support services such as wound, catheter, stomach and bowel care, administering medications and injections, and providing clinical management. You will also complete nursing, continence and dementia screening assessments. You will be responsible for supporting care plans and provide solutions tailored to each customer’s individual needs.
As a core member of our team, you’ll work closely with families, General Practitioners and the KinCare team to ensure a holistic approach to each customer’s health needs, including their physical, emotional and social well-being.
About you:
* Full AHPRA registration
* Must be available Mon, Wed & Fridays + 1 extra day (Tue or Thursday) each week
* Full Driver’s licence with a reliable and insured vehicle
* The ability to be flexible, resilient and to make strong decisions
* Genuine interest in working in the community and with the elderly - previous experience is ideal
* Ability to work autonomously
* Strong communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills
* Full Covid vaccination and be willing to undergo a functional assessment.
