About the role
The Lead - Infrastructure Communications and Engagement role is central to the management of program-wide infrastructure projects, and responsible for communications centred around amplifying the narrative and vision of HIQ's business, purpose and commitments.
Reporting to the Director of Infrastructure Communications and Engagement, you will be responsible for the streamlined delivery of statewide infrastructure communications and engagement in collaboration and partnership with HHS's and internal Department stakeholders.

The successful person
The Lead - Infrastructure Communications and Engagement must have experience leading communications and engagement functions or programs of work, ideally related to the infrastructure or health industry. The essential requirements for this role are:
- Experience in leading teams and inspiring a sense of shared purpose and direction, forward thinking and a clearly articulated strategic direction.
- Experience in planning, developing, implementing and evaluating communications and engagement activity to support organisational goals.
- Executive presence and shown ability to influence cross-functional teams.
- Ability to move between strategy and execution easily.
- Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional communication capabilities, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate nuanced issues, strategies, and briefs clearly.
- Effective strategic, conceptual and critical thinking skills, particularly in relation to issues management.
- Inherent curiosity, with an appetite for an exciting opportunity on a fun, collaborative team.
- Significant relevant work experience or tertiary qualification.
