Tas Sports Physio is a well established and locally owned physiotherapy practice in southern Tasmania since 1977. We have two clinics in Hobart and Sorell servicing the needs of our community. Known for our client-centered approach, we have built a robust reputation in the community and are proud to receive consistent word-of-mouth referrals from our long-standing client base, local GPs and Orthopaedic Surgeons. Tas Sports Physio has been part of the sporting landscape of Tasmania for 45 years supporting international level athletes down to local grass sporting teams. We are actively involved in supporting sporting clubs across AFL, Independent Schools AFL & Rugby, State Hockey, Basketball and Athletics.
We are looking for a dedicated Physiotherapist with a strong work ethic who is committed to working in Tasmania and servicing the community. We proudly employ a team of Tasmanians who have strong ties to the community. You\'ll be working with a diverse range of clients, from athletes to individuals recovering from injuries or managing chronic conditions.
What you\'ll be doing
Conducting comprehensive physiotherapy assessments and developing individualised treatment plans
Delivering a range of evidence-based physiotherapy interventions with an emphasis on manual therapy, exercise prescription, and education. We value a hands-on approach with all our clients.
Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure multidisciplinary best care for our clients
Maintaining high quality client records and reports with the assistance of AI technology where desired.
Actively participating in both internal and external professional development opportunities
Working with sporting teams across various codes including AFL, Rugby and Hockey to provide weekend game coverage and weekday training coverage.

Our Hobart clinic is in a beautiful heritage building in the heart of the city, while our second clinic is located in Sorell 25 minutes away within one of the fastest growing municipalities in southern Tasmania.

We offer highly competitive remuneration packages above award rates, including yearly professional development allowance, and potential for bonus/commission structures negotiated depending on experience.
Requirements
Fully qualified and unrestricted AHPRA-registered physiotherapist
Minimum 2 years of private practice experience preferred
Strong clinical skills in managing musculoskeletal conditions and sports injuries, from manual therapy to implementing individualised exercise rehabilitation programs and return to sport testing
Experience in Women\'s Health is strongly welcomed
Strong work ethic, reliable, and able to work independently
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with the team
