About This Role
Our client is one of Australia's leading large‑scale corporate farming enterprises, operating extensive and diverse agricultural assets across the country. The business is focused on sustainable production, operational excellence, innovation and long‑term stewardship.
* Lead and manage large‑scale dryland fodder cropping operations (10,000 ha)
* Develop and execute annual and long‑term cropping programs aligned with corporate strategy
* Oversee agronomy planning, soil health programs, and sustainable farming practices
* Supervise farm hands and contractors
* Coordinate planting, spraying, fertilising, harvesting, and logistics activities
* Monitor seasonal conditions and implement responsive risk management strategies
* Utilise data, technology, and precision agriculture tools to drive performance
* Ensure compliance with WHS, environmental, and corporate governance standards
* Drive continuous improvement and innovation across the operation
Requirements
* Experience managing large‑scale dryland cropping enterprises
* Demonstrated leadership capability in managing teams within corporate or multi‑site farming operations
* Sound agronomic knowledge and practical understanding of dryland farming systems
* Experience with farm management systems
* A proactive, solutions‑focused mindset with strong communication skills
