Commercial Lawyer (Australian Government) – Canberra
Job Description:
As a commercial lawyer in our Australian Government team, you will be working on major projects and programs covering capability acquisition and sustainment, ICT and complex goods and/or services procurement and contracting. You will advise clients on contract law and commercial matters.
You will be part of a collaborative team supporting the achievement of Australian Government requirements and objectives. To succeed in this role, you'll need 2-5 years of post-admission experience, preferably in a commercial legal role. You should have a strong interest in working on Australian Government transactions and background in project and program work and/or ICT contracting.
Candidates should be able to draft clear and concise communications. A Baseline clearance is required.
Key Responsibilities:
* Advise on contract law and commercial matters for various Australian Government clients
