With continued growth and a forward-thinking approach, they are looking for an experienced Payroll Officer to join their finance team, where you will play a key role in ensuring accurate and efficient payroll operations while contributing to ongoing process improvements.
Key responsibilities
* Processing fortnightly payroll for 150 employees
* Manage onboarding, termination, overtime, leave and salary packaging
* Interpret EBA and awards
* Assist with payroll reporting and other ad hoc responsibilities
* Handling payroll queries from employees
* Manage payroll matters including super, reconciliations, adjustments, and reporting
Ideal candidate
* Has previous experience as a Payroll Officer
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Comprehensive knowledge of payroll laws, tax requirements, superannuation, and regulatory compliance
* Highly organised with excellent time management skills
