About the Role
Lead a family law team in our client's new south-eastern bayside office Work on meaningful family law matters and guide a close-knit team delivering practical, client-centred solutions in a genuinely fun and supportive workplace. Duties
* Advise & represent clients in complex family law cases with care & professionalism
* Negotiate, mediate & appear in court
* Build strong client relationships, balancing professionalism with empathy
* Draft high quality legal documents: including affidavits, financial agreements, and parenting plans
* Manage files end‑to‑end, collaborating with barristers and external professionals to achieve the best outcomes for clients
* Mentor junior team members & contribute to firm growth & business development
Skills & Experience
* Minimum 7 years' family law experience (PAE)
* Accredited family law specialist (ideal)
* Accredited mediator (ideal)
* Strong ethical compass and a genuine commitment to helping families
* Exceptional technical skills along with great leadership skills
* Ability to manage high-conflict situations with compassion, warmth and a solutions-focussed style
* A good sense of humour & ability to fit into a fun‑loving, supportive team
