Project Support Officer
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Support Officer to play a pivotal role in delivering our National Messaging System (NMS). As Canberra's fastest-growing digital innovator, we work exclusively with the Federal Government to deliver projects that matter.
About the Role
You will operate under the direction of experienced Assistant Director and Director-level leaders, working across a wide scope of activities that support ICT project delivery, stakeholder engagement, policy support, and high-level governance. This role is best suited to someone who is analytical, proactive, collaborative, and service-oriented, with a passion for high-quality delivery in the public sector context.
* Supporting the successful delivery of project activities, ensuring alignment with government priorities and timelines
* Researching and analysing information to provide timely and accurate advice to project leads
* Preparing high-quality written materials, including briefs, ministerial correspondence, policy papers and project documentation
* Maintaining accurate records to support governance and quality assurance functions
* Contributing to communications and stakeholder engagement campaigns
* Providing administrative and secretariat support for intergovernmental and cross-sector forums
* Helping identify and mitigate risks through evidence-based decision support
* Supporting formal engagement channels with state, territory, and Commonwealth officials
* Assisting in other key functions across the Section to support operational and strategic priorities
This role requires strong experience in ICT project delivery and public sector environments, as well as a professional and detail-oriented approach to policy and stakeholder engagement. You will also need proven ability to research and analyse complex project-related matters, high-quality communication skills, and excellent time management and prioritisation abilities.
